We were tasked to write a scary story of exactly 100 words in length. This is my attempt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Ghosts<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s the feeling on the back of your neck when you\u2019re alone in a darkened room. Are you really alone?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The voice in the back of your mind. Did you leave on the stove?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The prickle at your ear. Are they laughing about you?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The drive through the rural forest on a cold autumn night, the trees branches casting their shadows in your rear view. Do they not resemble long skeletal fingers reaching for you?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That headache you\u2019ve nightly endured these past many months. Didn\u2019t your favorite aunt have brain cancer?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ghosts are real my friend.
